Ranchos de Placitas was established in 1959 as a subdivision in Sandoval County, New Mexico. With lots ranging from one to five acres, our community consists of approximately 300 acres on the northern end of the Sandia Mountains and is about three miles west of the Village of Placitas.
Restrictive covenants were placed and made binding on all lots in Units I, II, and III of Ranchos de Placitas in August 1959, December 1959, April 1960, and amended in July 1979.
